Playing our concert on the Great Wall of China was an unbelievable event. It really carried home the fact that we were in a foreign land playing American music; many of us had tears in our eyes during this concert. The location of the concert is the center of a large visitor's center; this is where most of the tour buses bring the tourists. We had quite a few tourists stop by to hear our concert and later we heard others say that they heard us while they were climbing way up the wall. This wall was built to protect China from the invading Mongolians from the north and spans over 4,000 miles from the east coast to the Gobi desert.
