We spent a week in Mobile, AL with Randy and his family. This was a very busy week for his church; they were finishing a major expansion to their church and school. When the evening service ended on Sunday, September 15, they tore out a wall that ran down the right side of their auditorium. Next all the carpet was taken out and the pulpit and choir stage area were torn down. During the week the pulpit and choir stage were rebuilt to be centered in the widened auditorium, new carpet installed, sound booth built, new PA system installed, all walls painted and a new ceiling installed and painted. Everything was ready for service on Sunday morning, September 22. Randy is almost exhausted and is ready to get life back to normal. He says he wants to be a Pastor not a construction superintendent. He did a great job getting everything done at the right time, but really wants to be a full-time Pastor.

Our "tourist" thing was to visit the Battleship Alabama Park. Besides the battleship there is a large collection of aircraft including a special display of the WW II glider groups.
